All activities in a trainee portfolio can be given a category. The purpose of allocating categories to an activity is to ensure that ARCP panels can find the activities they are looking for with relative ease.
Categories are organised into 3 main groups: Target Learning Activities, Main Learning Situations and Additional Educational Activities.
Using the radio button and the drop down boxes, trainees can choose which category an activity falls under.
A trainee's activities can then be searched for by category using the category filter to show all the activities that have been assigned to a particular category.
Trainees can use our step-by-step guide on how to assign a category to an activity to start organising their activities. Trainees may also want to tag an activity with keywords to further personalise their portfolio.
