When a trainee records an activity in their portfolio, they can give it a predefined category. This is done on the activity form itself and can be done either as the trainee is creating the activity, or added later by editing the activity.
Step 1: Create an activity or open an existing activity in FOM PortfolioBuilder.
Step 2: Choose a 'Category'.
Categories are organised into 3 main groups: Target Learning Activities, Main Learning Situations and Additional Educational Activities.
Step 3: Choose a 'Section' from the drop-down box.
Step 4: Click on Submit or Save Draft.
