The Faculty of Occupational Medicine's ARCP process is still being conducted offline at present, but here is a step-by-step guide on how you will be able to add an ARCP reviewer to a school when it's up and running online.
An Annual Review of Competence Progression (ARCP) Reviewer can be only be added to FOM PortfolioBuilder by approved users. If you do not already have ARCP Administrator access to FOM PortfolioBuilder, please get in touch with our support team Tel: 0800 987 1004 E-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Step 1: Log in to your ARCP Administrator account on FOM PortfolioBuilder.
Step 2: Go to the 'School' page.
Step 3: Click on the 'ARCP Reviewers' tab.
Step 4: Type in the email address of the reviewer.
It is important that ARCP administrators check with reviewers to see if they are already registered with the system, and if so, what their primary email address is. The primary email address is the email address used to log in to the system and is the one an administrator should use to register reviewers. This ensures no duplicate accounts are created.
If you type in a recognised email address, FOM PortfolioBuilder will automatically fill in the name of the reviewer, if not, enter it manually.
Step 5: Click on 'Nominate'.
All ARCP Reviewers for a school have access to a trainee's portfolio two weeks up to and including the trainee's ARCP review date.
If a reviewer is no longer a reviewer for a school, ARCP administrators can remove them by following our step-by-step guide: Remove an ARCP Reviewer from your School. It is the school's responsibility to make sure that the list of reviewers is kept up-to-date.
