There may be times in training when trainees wish to link one activity, assessment or review to another such as a reflection to an Educational Supervisor Report (ESR) or Form R. Trainees can do this using the 'follow-up' feature.
Step 1: Open up an existing activity, assessment or review or create a new activity.
Step 2: Click on 'New Followup'
Once an activity, assessment, review etc. has been opened or created, the trainee can add a follow-up to it.
Step 2: Select the type of follow-up from the drop-down box.
A follow-up can be anything including one of our proformas.
PBtips: Trainees wishing to reflect on an Educational Supervisor Report should use the Educational Supervisor Report (ESR) Reflection proforma.
Step 3: Follow any on-screen prompts.
The prompts will vary depending on the form chosen.
Step 4: Complete the form.
The sections of the form that need completing will also vary depending on the type of follow-up selected. The process for completing activities, assessments and reviews does not change for them being follow-ups.
Step 5: Click on 'Submit' or 'Save for Later'.
Once submitted, the trainee will be able to see a breadcrumb trail of linked documents at the top of the form. The trainee can click on the links in the breadcrumb trail to view each document.
Users with relevant permissions such as educational or clinical supervisors, nominated assessors etc. will be also able to see linked documents by clicking on the 'Followups' link. This will display an interactive Followup Chart.
