When an activity is recorded in a trainee's portfolio, the trainee can tag it with key words which can be used to demonstrate the breadth and depth of their personal achievements and competencies, and can also be used used to search for or filter activities.
Tagging is done on the activity form itself and can be done either as the trainee is creating the activity, or added later by editing the activity.
Step 1: Add an activity or 'edit' an existing activity
Trainees can tag an activity as they add it to their portfolio or edit an existing activity. Assessments and reviews do not become activities in a trainee's portfolio until they have been submitted by the assessor or reviewer or in the case of the MSF, have been released by a supervisor. To edit an activity, click on the 'edit' button on the activity card.
Step 2: Type the tag in the tag box separating tags with a comma.
In this example, the trainee has uploaded a CV to their portfolio and tagged the activity with alternative names; 'curriculum vitae' and 'resume'.
Step 3: Click on 'Submit' or 'Save Draft'.
